Preparation:
1. Combine flour, baking powder, 1/2 cup sugar and a dash salt; cut in butter until crumbly and stir in egg.
2. Spread dough on bottom and sides of 8-inch square baking pan; arrange plum slices over dough.
3. Combine remaining sugar, orange peel and cinnamon; sprinkle over plum slices.
4. Bake in preheated 375 F. oven 20 minutes.
5. Combine heavy cream and egg yolk; pour over plums, return to oven and bake 30 minutes longer. Serve hot. |
