Preparation:
Melt the butter, add onion and pepper, freed of seed, and cook until a delicate brown. Shred or chop the cabbage very fine. Stir into the onion mixture and brown. Turn into a greased baking dish, pour over the well- seasoned tomatoes, cover with buttered crumbs and bake in a moderate oven until cabbage is tender. Cook about 45 minutes in a moderate oven, 350 degrees. |
