Preparation:
Cook all sauce ingredients over medium heat for 30 minutes, then simmer.
Boil noodles in water and 1 tablespoon olive oil until tender. Drain. Layer bottom of pyrex baking dish (large) with a few noodles. Place 1/3 of meat sauce mixture over noodles. Layer with 1/3 mozzarella and cheddar cheese. Top with 1/3 of ricotta cheese. Place another layer of noddles on top of ricotta cheese. Top with meat sauce, cheese, and ricotta. Add another layer of noodles, and top with remaining meat sauce, and cheese.
Bake for 30 minutes at 375 degrees. |
