Preparation:
Brown the meat. Add spices, water, and bring to a boil. Add noodles. Cook until the noodles are tender, about 10 minutes. Shake flour in a jar with 1/2 cup water. Add to the broth and stir constantly until thickened. Use hot sauce to taste.
Variation: With (leftover) veggies, this becomes a complete, one dish meal.
For chicken or turkey and noodles, cook poultry in salted water until completely tender. Remove the meat from the bones and return to the stock. Add noodles and cook as above. |
