Preparation:
Make a little slit in the skin of the peaches. Dip them in hot water for
a few seconds. Peel the peaches. Cut in half. Remove the stone.
In a chafing dish or flameproof baking dish, place peaches, cut side
down.
Sprinkle lightly with cloves and brown sugar.
Pour maple syrup evenly over peaches.
Place under broiler. Broil for 5 to 7 minutes or until peaches are
slightly browned on top, not burned. Sere immediately. |
