Preparation:
Brown ground beef and drain. Add onions, garlic, salt and pepper, parsley, oregano, Italian seasoning, allspice, bay leaves, stewed tomatoes and tomato sauce.(after emptying tomato sauce into pot, refill each can with water and add to pot)
Bring to boil and then turn down to low and let simmer 8-10 hours. Add the mushrooms in the last two hours. The zucchini is best added at that time to if you want chunks of zucchini in your sauce, otherwise add in the beginning and kids will not notice they are there. |
