Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cook macaroni in boiling, salted water until just tender, following package directions; drain.
Combine milk, bread crumbs, butter, onion, mushrooms, worcestershire sauce, mustard, cheese, and slightly beaten egg yolks. Mix in macaroni. Season with salt and pepper
Beat egg whites until stiff; fold into macaroni mixture. Pour into greased casserole, cover, and bake for 30 minutes. Remove cover and return to oven until top browns. Serve hot. |
