Preparation:
Cut orange slices in 8ths, add hot water and let stand overnight. Next day
cream margarine and brown sugar; stir in beaten eggs. Sift flour; add
baking
powder and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Stir in orange slices and water
they were soaked in. Add vanilla and chopped nuts. Place in greased 15 x
10
x 1" jelly roll pan. bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered
sugar while still hot. When cool cut into bars. |
