Preparation:
Dissolve coffee granules in 2 teaspoons hot water. Beat butter at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Add coffee, and beat until spreading consistency.
Trim crust from cake. Cut cake into 6 squares. Spread frosting on top and sides of squares; roll in nuts. Top with ice cream, and drizzle with sauces.
Variation: Substitute 3/4 cup chopped dry-roasted peanuts for macadamias, if desired. |
