Preparation:
Beat Steaks until thin, divide the Stuffing between them and roll up. Secure with cocktail sticks and fry lightly on all sides in a little Butter or Oil until browned. Place in a casserole dish. Lightly dry the diced Vegetables in the same pan, sprinkle in the Flour and cook for a minute or two, then blend in the Stock and bring to the boil, stirring to make a sauce. Cook gently for a minute or two, season to taste and pour over the steak rolls. Cover the casserole tightly and cook in the oven at 375øF/190øC/Gas Mark 5 for about 1-1/2 hours, or until the meat is ready. |
