Preparation:
Cream butter and white and brown sugar together until light and fluffy.
Beat in vanilla and eggs. Add molasses and blend
In a bowl, combine the flour, cocoa,cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, baking
powder and soda
Add dry ingredients to butter mixture alternately with the buttermilk,
beating well after each addition.
Pour batter into a well greased bundt or tube cake pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out
clean when cake is tested.
Cool for 30 minutes. Turn out onto rack to comlete cooling |
