Preparation:
Put yeast into a small bowl and add sugar and warm water. Allow to stand for 5 minutes, then mix until smooth. Pour the yeast mixture into a large bowl with the flour and olve oil. Mix with your hands to a stiff dough. Knead on a floured board for 10 minutes (use more water if necessary).
Place dough ball in an oiled bowl and put in a fairly warm place unti has doubled in size. Punch down and reshale ball (repeat if you have time)
Turn dough onto a floured board and roll dough to a thickness of 1/4 inch. Place on baking sheed sprayed with olive oil.
Makes two small pizzas or one large 9 inch pizza. |
