Preparation:
1. Preheat oven to 400F. Grease shallow 2 1/2 qt casserole.
2. In saucepan, heat 2 1/2 cups milk to simmering. In bowl, mix remaining milk, the salt and cornmeal; add to milk in pan.
3. Bring to boiling, stirring for 1 minutes until thickened. Add butter, corn and pepper sauce.
4. In bowl, mix eggs, cornmeal mixture, and baking powder; pour into casserole. Top with cheese. Bake 25 minutes. |
