Cherimoya-Lime Sorbet

Ingredients:

1 1/4 cups pureed cherimoya
1/2 cup fresh lime juice
1/4 cup water
1 teaspoon honey
 

Preparation:

Puree all ingredients in a blender, pour into a bowl and freeze till solid (2-3 hours). Remove from the freezer and with a fork, break up the sorbet into large chunks. Transfer the chunks to a food processor or blender and process till smooth and creamy. Return to the bowl and freeze for 30 more minutes. To serve, place a scoop into a sorbet glass or onto a dessert dish and enjoy. This recipe can be used as an intermezzo or as a dessert.
