Preparation:
With an apple corer remove inside of zucchini, taking care not to break the skin. Mix together the beef, egg, permesan, bread, prosciuto, salt and the pepper. Stuff zucchini with this mixture. Melt leaf lard and butter in large skillet, add onion, parsley and bacon. brown well. Add tomato paste and water and cook 5 minutes. Place zucchini in this sauce. If the sauce is not enough to cover zucchini, add water. Bake in moderate oven (375) bake for 30 minutes. |
