Preparation:
Cook potatoes in boiling water until fork-tender. Drain and coarsely
chop or mash. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Crumble and cook sausage in
medium skillet until browned. Drain well and transfer to large bowl.
Stir in potatoes, milk, green onions, worcestershire sauce, salt and
pepper. Pour into greased 2+1/2 - 3 quart casserole dish.
Sprinkle with bread crumbs; drizzle with melted butter. Sprinkle with
paprika. Bake uncovered, 30-35 minutes or until casserole bubbles and
top is browned. Refrigerate leftovers if there is any. Makes 6-8
servings. |
