Preparation:
Heat water and 1/4 teaspoon salt to a boil, over a moderate flame add onions, cover, and simmer for 10-15 minutes, drain well heat butter in a saucepan, over a medium flame stir in flour, until bubbly stir in milk, and remaining 1/4 teaspoon salt heat and stir until thickened remove onions to a heated serving dish pour sauce over the top sprinkle with paprika serve hot |
