Preparation:
Caramel Eggnog: Add 1 teaspoon caramel syrup.
Chocolate Eggnog: Add 2 tablespoons chocolate or cocoa syrup.
Christmas Eggnog: Use only 2 teaspoons sugar and flavor each eggnog with 1/4 cup rum.
Coffee Eggnog: Use equal parts milk and strong coffee and omit vanilla and nutmeg.
Easter Eggnog: Use sugar and cream instead of honey and milk. Omit vanilla and nutmeg and flavor each serving with 2 tablespoons brandy.
Fruit Juice Eggnog: Use only the egg yolk and pineapple or orange juice instead of milk. Omit vanilla and nutmeg.
Honolulu Eggnog: Use half pineapple juice and half cream. Omit vanilla
Mint Eggnog: Add crushed sprays of mint and omit vanilla and nutmeg.
Sherry Eggnog: Use only 2 teaspoons sugar, add an additional 1/2 cup milk and 1/4 cup sherry.
Southern Eggnog: Use only 2 teaspoons sugar and flavor each eggnog with 1/4 cup brandy, ry or bourbon whisky. |
