This produces a 'wet' cheesecake...my favorite kind. I have been making this for 30+ years and it continues to draw raves every time. I believe I obtained the recipe from The Campbell's Soup Company. |

Condensed Cheddar Cheese Soup |

Lemon Juice |

teaspoon |
Grated Lemon Rind |

Vanilla |

Almond Extract |

Graham Cracker Crust, chilled |

Cherry Pie Filling, opt. |

Preparation:
Blend Cream Cheese until smooth. Alternately beat in 2/3 C Sugar and Eggs. Blend in 1 C Soup, 2 T Lemon Juice 1 t Lemon Rind and Extracts.
Pour into chilled crust.
Bake @ 350* 50 minutes.
Combine Topping ingredients. Spread on pie. Bake 5 minutes longer. Cool. Chill.
Garnish with Cherry Pie Filling, if desired. |
