Preparation:
combine butter and dry ingredients-mix to a mealy texture beat in eggs, one at a time, until dough comes together wrap in plastic and chill until firm rollout and press onto the bottom and up the sides of tart pans combine onions, leeks, and butter in a skillet, over a medium flame heat and stir for 6-8 minutes, until softened without browning remove from heat, cool combine onion mixture, cream, pumpkin, salt, honey, white pepper, and nutmeg-mix well add eggs-mix well pour into tart shells bake @ 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes, until set and slightly puffy remove from heat garnish with blanched fresh vegetables serve warm or at room temperature |
