Preparation:
Combine flour and butter until crumbly; press into 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle with nuts and bake 15 minutes at 350ΓΈ. Let cool. Combine sugar and cream cheese; mix well. Add 1/2 whipped topping. Spread over cooled baked crust. Spread the sliced bananas on top of this layer. Prepare pudding with milk in usual manner and spread over top of banana layer. Using remaining whipped topping, spread over pudding. This dessert freezes well.
1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding or banana pudding 1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip bananas 2 c. milk 1 box vanilla wafers 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
Mix pudding by directions, adding the milk. When mixture thickens, blend in sour cream and Cool Whip. Put layer of wafers, bananas and pudding mixture, ending with layer of pudding mixture. Then crumble some wafers on top. |
