Preparation:
1. Spread peeled, sliced mangoes in baking dish; sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
2. Bake in preheated 350 F. oven 15 minutes.
3. Meanwhile, boil water; add tapioca, salt and sugar. Cook, stirring, over moderate heat until tapioca is clear, 5 to 10 minutes.
4. Pour over mangoes and return baking dish to 350 F. oven 1/2 hour longer.
5. Serve warm or cold with whipped cream, if desired. |
