Ingredients:

8 ounces peeled and cleaned shrimp -- thawed
1/3 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/3 cup finely chopped red bell pepper
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons sliced green onion
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
3 pieces whole wheat pita loaves (6-inch) -- cut in half
1 package fresh alfalfa sprouts
 

Preparation:

1. Combine shrimp, cheese, red pepper, mayonnaise, onion, lemon juice and pepper in medium mixing bowl.

2. Spoon 1/3 cup mixture into each pita half. Top with sprouts.
