Preparation:
Line a rimmed baking sheet or broiler pan with heavy foil. Spray with nonstick cooking spray.
Mix turkey with 1/2 cup barbecue sauce until well blended.
Cut cheese into five 3/4-inch cubes
Divide meat into 5 portions. Shape half of each portion into a patty. Place a cube of cheese in center and top with remaining meat, shaping into a patty and covering the cheese.
Place patties on the prepared pan. Brush tops with the barbecue sauce.
Broil 2 to 3 inches from heat until tops turn golden brown, 4 to 5 minutes. Turn and brush with more sauce. Broil 4 to 5 more minutes, or until cooked through.
