Teriyaki Burgers

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
2 tablespoons honey
1/4 cup onion
2 tablespoons fresh ginger root
4 teaspoons light soy sauce
 

Preparation:

Mix the hoisin sauce with the honey, onion, gingerroot and soy sauce until thoroughly combined. Prepare the burgers according to their recipe, substituting half the sauce mixture for the water, steak sauce or milk. Baste the burgers with half the remaining sauce as they grill, and pour any remaining sauce over the burgers after they are finished.
