Preparation:
Wash and core apples. Work quickly so the phyllo doesn't dry out, And be sure to keep the unsed phyllo well wrapped. With a brush,spread melted margarine on first sheet of phyllo. Add the next sheet and repeat same procedure.Repeat until you have 5 sheets unevenly placed on one another, Place tha apple in center of the sheets sprinkle a tablespoon of brown sugar and pecan mixture into hollow of the apple, and "wrap" the apple in the dough, twisting the dough together at the top of the apple. Repeat this procedure with remaining apples. Bake at 325*F, for 15 to 20 minutes or until phyllo is golden brown. 4 serving |
