Preparation:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. In a small bowl, combine flour, sugar, brown sugar, macadamia nuts, and cinnamon.Stir together. Cut in butter with a pastry blender or two forks, until mixture resembles coarse meal. Set aside.
In a pregreased 8 inch baking dish, arrange apple slices. Drop apricot preserves atop apple slices by the teaspoonfuls. Sprinkle the flour mixture over the top. Bake until golden and bubbly (35 minutes).
Note: This is an easy and lowfat dessert, great for winter nights. If you like, serve with frozen yogurt or ice cream. |
