Beat egg white with cream of tartar until foamy. Add sugar a little at a time until stiff peaks form. Spread on brown paper on cookie sheet to make a crust. Bake at 275 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Turn oven off, leave meringue shell in oven until cool .
Blend cream cheese, sugar and vanilla, fold in cool whip and spread over meringue shell.
Dissolve jello in water, chill until it begins to set. Stir in strawberries, just to coat. Pile strawberries high on filling. Chill. |
