Preparation:
Brown beef, onion and green pepper in pan; drain off excess fat. Stir in tomato sauce, chili powder and garlic salt; simmer while preparing dough. Separate biscuits into 10, then separate each one into 2 parts. Press 10 pieces in bottom of ungreased 8 or 9 inch scquare pan. Combine 1/2 cup cheese, sour cream and egg and mix. Remove meat from heat; stir in sour cream mix- ture and spoon over dough. Arrange remaining biscuits on top of casserole. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake 25 to 30 minutes in 3750 oven or until biscuits are golden brown. |
