Preparation:
heat 4 quarts water to a boil in a large saucepot, over a high flame add cabbage and simmer for 10 minutes, drain alternate layers of cabbage and 1 cup cheese in a casserole heat butter to melt in a saucepan, over a medium flame add garlic, flour, salt, sugar, and pepper heat and stir until bubbly gradually whisk in milk heat and stir until thickened pour over cabbage and top with remaining cheese bake @ 350 degrees for 20 minutes serve hot |
