Preparation:
Place turnips in a large saucepan; add 1 1/4 c. water, and bring to a boil. Cover and cook 12 minutes. Add green onions, butter, garlic powder, and salt; cook an additional 5 minutes.
Dissolve cornstarch in 1/4 c. water; add to turnips, stirring until combined. Add cheese; cook until cheese melts. |
