Preparation:
Combine almonds, flour, 1/2 cup butter, and 1/4 cup sugar-mix well turnout onto a lightly floured board and knead for 5 minutes shape into a log, wrap in plastic, and chill for 1-96 hours grease baking sheets with remaining butter combine remaining sugar, vanilla, and powdered sugar-mix well, set aside rollout dough to a thickness of 1/2-inch cut into crescents, place onto greased baking sheets bake @ 350 degrees for 13-15 minutes remove from oven, cool slightly dust with sugar mixture serve at room temperature |
