Preparation:
Heat the broth in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and onion and saut‚ for 3 minutes. Add the carrot and saut‚ for 3 minutes. Add the rice and saut‚ for 2 minutes.
Add the broth, bring to a boil, lower the heat, cover, and simmer until the water is absorbed, about 40 to 45 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients and serve.
