Preparation:
1. Drain pineapple and peaches, reserving a total of 1 cup juice.
2. Combine juice, cornstarch and spices in 2-quart saucepan; bring to a boil over medium-high heat
3. Reduce heat; simmer until mixture is thickened and clear.
4. Remove from heat.
5. Add pineapple, peaches and banana; mix well.
6. Spread fruit mixture into 8-inch square baking dish.
7. Combine cereal and butter, mixing well; sprinkle evenly over fruit.
8. Bake in preheated 350 F. oven about 20 minutes. Serve warm for breakfast, brunch or dessert. |
