Spareribs and Sauerkraut

Ingredients:

4 medium yellow onions
2 quarts sauerkraut
2 small spareribs
 

Preparation:

Cut onions in half and place in casserole. Spread sauerkraut over onions. Place ribs on top. Brown in a 500-degree oven, reduce heat to 450 degrees, cover tightly, and bake 1-1/2 to 2 hours.
