Preparation:
Slice apples, add raisins and nuts. Mix flour and spices and toss to coat
fruit and nuts. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons - 1/4 cup sugar on inside of
cleaned-out pumpkin. Add fruit and nut mixture and another 1/4 to 1/2 cup
sugar. Put lid on pumpkin and bake at 375 degrees for about 1 1/2 hours
till pumpkin is tender. Scoop out some pumpkin with each serving. Serve
with ice cream or half and half. |
