Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Lightly butter a 9-by-13-inch baking pan.
In a medium bowl, mix the butter and sugar until smooth. Mix in the eggs. Add the flour, a little at a time, stirring constantly. Stir in the water. Mix in the salt, vanilla and nuts and transfer the batter to the prepared pan. Bake for about 40 minutes or until golden brown and firm. Cool and cut into bars. |
