Preparation:
In a blender or food processor fitted with the metal blade, coarsely chop the chocolate chips and almonds. In a large bowl, mix whipping cram, brandy and chocolate syrup. Beat until thickened but not stiff. Fold in softened ice cream, chopped chocolate chips and almonds. Freeze uncovered until solid on top but still soft inside. Remove from freezer. Stir well to bring chips and almonds up from bottom of bowl. Cover and freeze until solid. May be frozen for several months. Before serving, spoon frozen mixture into individual serving dishes and garnish with whipped cream and grated chocolate, if desired. |
