Scalloped Noodles

Ingredients:

8 ounces egg noodles
1/4 cup butter
1 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup light cream
1/4 cup cracker crumbs
 

Preparation:

Cook noodles in boiling, salted water following package directions; drain. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter in saucepan. Add bread crumbs and cook, stirring, until browned. Toss noodles with browned bread crumbs. Dust bottom of buttered casserole dish with half the cracker crumbs. Cover with noodles and sprinkle with remaining cracker crumbs. Dot with butter. Bake for 1 hour, then remove from oven and serve.
