Preparation:
In a large bowl combine cookie mix, eggs, coconut, lemon rind, nuts and cherries. Spread in a well-greased 9- by 13- by 2-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. When done, center should spring back when pressed lightly. While warm, cut into 1 1/2-inch squares. Sprinkle with sugar.
