Preparation:
Bottom Layer: Cream butter. Add flour and sugar. Mix well. Pat mixture into a pan (8x12). Bake at 325ø for 20 minutes.
Top Layer: Beat together eggs, flour, sugar, lemon juice, and rind. Avoid overbeating. Pour over baked bottom layer. (It is not necessary to cool bottom layer.)
Bake at 325ø for 25 minutes. Cool on a wire rack. Sift confectioner's sugar over top. Cut into bar |
