Preparation:
Combine butter and 1 cup chocolate morsels in a heavy saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until chocolate and butter melt. Remove from heat.
Add sugar and next 5 ingredients, stirring until blended. Stir in pecans and 1/2 cup chocolate morsels. Spread mixture into a lightly greased 8-inch square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until center is set. Cool in pan on a wire rack. Cut into squares and serve with ice cream and warm Easy Hot Fudge Sauce.
Easy Fudge Sauce: Combine first 3 ingredients in a heavy saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until chocolate melts and mixture comes to a boil. Add butter and vanilla, stirring until butter melts. Makes 3 cups. |
