Preparation:
Heat oil over medium heat in a large saucepan. Add apples, pears and raisins. Saute 3 - 5 minutes, or until soft.
Add 1/4 cup Grand Marnier and deglaze pan. Add cranberries, chipotles, cinnamon, sugar, orange zest and juice. Reduce heat to low. Stir and simmer 40 - - 45 minutes, or until it begins to thicken. Stir in the nutmeg and second 1/4 cup Grand Marnier. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Makes about 1 quart. |
