Preparation:
Grind or coarsely chop the leftover meat and the bacon. Place in a soup kettle together with the spices. Stir hte mashed potatoes into the beef broth, pressing out any lumps with the back of a spoon. Stir the potato mixture into the soup. Place over medium heat and bring soup to a boil, stirring to avoid sticking. Adjust the seasonings. Turn stove off, cover the kettle, and let rest for about 10 minutes. Serve hot. |
