Preparation:
Sprinkle salt into the bottom of a dutch oven and place over a moderate flame add beef and onions heat and stir for 5-6 minutes, until onions are transparent add celery and bell peppers, stir add the tomatoes, corn, and tamales, stir add the chile powder-mix well sprinkle masa harina over the top to soak up excess moisture, without stirring sprinkle with grated cheese bake @ 325 degrees for 20 minutes, to melt cheese garnish with minced scallions serve hot |
