Preparation:
Rinse hens; sprinkle inside and out with salt and pepper. Prepare stuffing mix according to package directions. Spoon into hens and truss. Arrange hens on a rack in crockpot, or, if crockpot is small, place neck ends down. Combine remaining ingredients. Baste hens with some of the sauce and pour remainder in pot. Cover and cook on low for 5 to 7 hours. Baste hens once or twice during cooking. Spoon sauce over hens at serving time. |
