Preparation:
Preheat oven to 400*F. Separate biscuits. In small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon. Dip biscuits into melted butter; roll in cinnamon sugar mixture. Arrange biscuits in a deep dish pan. Peel, core and slice the apples; cut slices in half crosswise and place an apple slice between each biscuit and around outer edge of pan. (I also put them on top.) Mix nuts and raisins with remaining sugar mixture; sprinkle over apples. (If not using these, simply sprinkle remaining sugar on top of apples.) Bake 25-30 minutes or until biscuits are deep golden brown. Serve warm. |
