Preparation:
Remove yeast packet from hot roll mix. Combine yeast and warm water in a large bowl. Stir in egg and 1/4 cup lemon frosting. Add flour from mix and stir until well blended. Cover; let rise in a warm place for 30 to 45 minutes. Punch dough down. Knead 1 to 2 minutes. Roll into a 15 x 12 inch rectangle. Spread dough with 3/4 cup lemon frosting. Sprinkle nuts on top. Roll up jelly roll style starting at longer side. Seal edges. Slice into 15 pieces. Place cut sid down in a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Cover; let rise until doubled, 30 to 45 minutes. Bake in a 375 degree F. gas oven for 25 to 35 minutes or unitl golden brown. Invert onto a serving plate. Spread with remaining lemon frosting. |
