Preparation:
Take center out of cabbage and shred. Place cabbage in pot of water with a pinch of salt and bring to a boil. When at boil, remove from heat and drain cabbage. In a skillet, fry fresh bacon. Once bacon is done, crumble on separate plate. Using the left over bacon drippings and a TBSP of butter, fry the drained cabbage. Add crumbled bacon to cabbage and simmer for 5 min. |
