An old version of the new Kettle Corn. A delicious and fun way to prepare popcorn.
Ingredients:

cups
granulated sugar
1
cup
water
2
tablespoons
butter
5
quarts
popped corn
Preparation:
Combine sugar, water and butter in a heavy saucepan. Cook to hard ball stage. 250 degrees. Add food coloring to fit any holiday ,if desired. Pour over popped corn and stir well. Sugar will crystalize as it cools.
